Hartlepool Farmers Market

We’re delighted to bring Northern Dales Farmers’ Market to Hartlepool every second Saturday of the month, from 9am to 2pm, at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Jackson Dock, TS24 0XZ. It’s one of our more compact markets, but perfectly formed -full of local flavour, friendly faces, and stands that reflect our love for local.

Each month, our fantastic stallholders bring what they do best – meats, cakes, farm-fresh vegetables, preserves and more -everything grown, reared, baked, caught or made locally

You’ll often see stallholders like Wreford’s Farm, Mellanby’s Winter Vegetables, The Teesside Coffee CoFree Range Eggs from Great AytonYorkshire Dales Cheese CoCaroline’s Homemade PreservesHappy Paws BakeryKay’s Kitchen, Worsdale’s Farmhouse Baking and more.

Local Area & What to Do

Because Hartlepool’s market is on the waterfront, at the Royal Navy Museum, there’s plenty to see and do around before or after your market visit:

  • Take time to explore the Museum itself – historic ships, exhibits, gift shop, café, and maritime heritage.
  • Walk along the quayside or explore Hartlepool Marina for beautiful views and fresh air.
  • Pop into local cafés, pubs or small restaurants close by for lunch or a relaxed drink.
  • If you’re staying the day, consider visiting other Hartlepool highlights: the Museum of Hartlepool, HMS Trincomalee (old sailing ship), or the Headland. Good options for families or those interested in history.
