Northern Dales Comes to Eaglescliffe!

Brand new for 2026 – We’re bringing our award-winning market to Eaglescliffe! Join us on the second Sunday of the month from 9am where we’ll be featuring a fabulous selection of local food producers and makers, bringing the best fresh, seasonal produce.

Make a morning of it & stop at the HQ Cafe for a post-market coffee.

The market area is fully accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs, as it’s set on hard standing. Well behaved dogs are very welcome but please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times!

Getting There & Practical Info

Location: The market is held in the grounds of Progress House, GNAAS, Urlay Nook Rd, Eaglescliffe, Stockton-on-Tees TS16 0QB
Time: 9:00am – 1:30pm – or until sell out!
Parking: There’s free parking available around the venue.
Accessibility: The venue is easy to find, and walking around between stalls is generally straightforward. Bring something sturdy for carrying your goodies home! Dogs on leads are welcome.

 Verified An excellent morning out, would recommend a visit A memorable visit to a lovely market town, the farmers market had an excellent variety of products to offer and the craft fair was very interesting, also enjoyed the walk on the river side watching the ducklings and looking around the individual shops and found an excellent fruit and vegetable shop, shall be definitely be going to the next one

 Verified Great local produce Right in the town centre on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month a great selection of local gourmet scotch eggs , pies , honey , rare breed meats and other tasty things - take a big bag you will need it

 Verified We shall return to stock up on treats - hopefully they'll be even more stalls next time Northern Dales Farmers Market is a travelling farmers market. They run markets every weekend in several locations (once a month to each location); Stokesley, Thirsk, Preston Park, Hartlepool, Wynyard Hall, Stewart Park, Easingwold.The market wasn't as big as we expected, maybe around 15 stalls, but the weather wasn't very good on both of our visits (Stokesley & Stuarts Park) so maybe it was a smaller turn out than usual. Stokesley's Market is right on the high street so could potentially be very busy, but we paid for parking at nearby local supermarket. We shall enjoy returning to the Farrmer's Market a couple of times a year to stock up on treats :-) Gigantic scones, delicious pies, fresh breads, lovely desserts, fresh meats, home-made non-alcoholic wine and a range of flavoured cheeses. Just wish someone there sold fresh olives!

 Verified Wish we had one like this! We went to Stokesley last Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by to find that not only was there a Farmers Market on but also a craft fair in what I believe is the town hall. Both were very good indeed and it was a pleasure to see local produce being sold by local people. The farmers market in particular was excellent with fresh fruit, veg, bread, eggs, scones and lots of other things, like chilli plants for sale. All the stall holders were friendly and welcoming and we had a thoroughly nice time. I just wish that our town had a market like this one - it beats the supermarkets hands down.  Verified Small but perfectly formed Cracking little farmers market. Parked at coop as we bought a few supplies there. Quite a variety as well as the usual fantastic butchers and cheese makers etc. From dog treats to Korean snacks. Not very big, but well worth a potter.

 Verified Great variety, quality and taste What a great selection of foods on offer, we always come home with a fantastic array of local produce. Some of our favourites are Pie Jackers, Acorn Preserves, Wreford farm and Labour of loaf. There is also a great selection of brownies, flapjacks, biscuits, ciders and many other tasty items.

 Verified Farmers Market or Craft Market ! Seems to have changed slot over the years and as I understand the originsl rules I cannot see how some of the stalls meet the original rules, having said that it's worth a day out as some of the food stalls are very good and you won't find these foods on your big supermarket shelves.The Stokesley farmer's market is on the high street and always as plenty of stalls and although first impressions you may think items are expensive remember that alot of time and effort goes in to these products.
